Kies Family Wines is located in the historic village of Lyndoch, at the southern gateway to the Barossa Valley. Just a one-hour drive north of Adelaide, the winery is perfectly positioned for day trips or weekend getaways. Nestled among picturesque vineyards and rolling hills, Kies offers a true taste of the Barossa in one of its most accessible and charming locations.

Do you offer Lunch?

Yes, the Monkey Nut Café is one of the rare winery restaurants in the Barossa Valley offering a full menu the whole family can enjoy—which means we can get quite busy, especially on weekends. We highly recommend booking ahead to avoid disappointment.

We offer two sittings daily:

Are you an accessible Barossa attraction?

Yes! We offer wheelchair accessibility throughout both the Monkey Nut Café and Tea Shop. We also offer an accessible toilet with right hand rails. The cellar door has a small ramp on entry.
