2021 Deer Stalker Merlot

The Deer Stalker Merlot is a unique style in the Barossa. It is fermented in stainless steel and produces little tannin which leaves it light and fruity.

Being un-wooded gives this stunning red wine the opportunity to be chilled right down like a white wine, without tightening up and producing a bitter finish.

It is designed to be served at room temperature or cold. It is packed with the traditional flavours of a Merlot, ripe raspberry, stewed plums and cherries and a touch of sweetness on the finish.

Appearance: vibrant deep red with a magenta hue

Aroma: lifted red fruits, mint leaf and spice, strawberry, raspberry and cherry with floral notes

Palate: confectionary raspberry notes, with strawberry plus dried herb notes. Medium body with a clean round finish.
