Step One: Settle In & Soak Up the Scenery

Step Two: Taste History in a Glass

Savour three rare, aged museum fortifieds — including a Tawny that has rested in the same barrel since 1962. Your wine host will guide you through a 45-minute tasting journey, sharing the rich history of the Barossa Valley and the stories behind each fortified wine. Expect some wines to average over 40 years in age.

Step Three:  A Sweet German Pairing

Each fortified wine is paired with a delicate Barossa Country Biscuits shortbread, handcrafted from time-honoured German recipes handed down from local Omas. Featuring traditional treats like almond bread from Eudunda’s German baking heritage, these pairings create the perfect balance of sweetness, spice, and nostalgia.
